Instructions

Foundation:
Chain 115.

Row 1 (Right Side):
Double crochet in the 4th chain from the hook. (The turning chain counts as the first double crochet.) Double crochet in each stitch across.
Chain 1, turn. (113 dc)

Row 2 (Wrong Side):
Single crochet in the first 4 stitches, dc5tog in the next stitch, single crochet in the next 3 stitches.
Repeat from * to * across the row, ending with 1 single crochet in the top of the turning chain.

Row 3 (Right Side):
Change to the second stripe color. Chain 3, turn, then double crochet across the row, skipping the turning chain.
Chain 1, turn.

Row 4 (Wrong Side):
Single crochet in the first 2 stitches, dc5tog in the next stitch, single crochet in the next 3 stitches.
Repeat from * to * until the last 3 stitches. Finish the row with one more dc5tog, then single crochet in the final 2 stitches (ending in the top of the turning chain).

Row 5 (Right Side):
Change to the third stripe color and repeat Row 3.

Row 6 to End:
Continue repeating Rows 2 through 5, changing colors on each right-side (odd-numbered) row, until the blanket reaches a roughly square shape or you run out of yarn.
