π Sheep Granny Square Crochet Pattern
NOTES:
This sheep granny square is primarily worked in continuous rounds, so do not slip stitch to join unless the instructions specifically tell you to.
If you’d like to pair this pattern with a simpler square, try the Solid Granny Square or the Polka Dot Square for a lovely complement.
π§Ά Special Stitches
5-Double Crochet Popcorn Stitch (5-dc-popcorn):
Work 5 double crochets into the same stitch. Remove your hook from the last dc and insert it (front to back) into the top of the first dc of the group. Reinsert the hook into the loop from the last dc, pull it through, and chain 1 to close the popcorn.
3-Double Crochet Popcorn Stitch (3-dc-popcorn):
Same technique as above, but only work 3 double crochets into the same stitch before closing with a ch 1.
