🧵 Stitch Guide

Magic Ring:
Wrap yarn around your left middle finger twice, leaving a 6″ tail. Insert your hook under both loops and pull up a loop. Chain 1, then begin crocheting into the center. Pull the yarn tail to tighten later.

V-Stitch (V-st):
Work (dc, ch 1, dc) into the indicated stitch or space.

Shell:
Work 7 dc into the indicated stitch or space.

Slip Stitch Seam (Sl St Seam):
With right sides facing, place motifs side by side. Insert your hook through the back loop of the first stitch and the front loop of the corresponding stitch on the next motif. Yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook.

🧶 Pattern Notes

This blanket is made by crocheting 42 motifs, which are then joined using slip stitch seams. Once the motifs are assembled, a border is worked around the entire blanket.
