Pattern Instructions

Main Blanket
Row 1: In the third chain from the hook, work 1 EHDC. Continue with 1 EHDC in each chain across. Chain 2, turn.
Row 2: In the first stitch (note: chain 2 does not count as a stitch), work 1 EHDC in each stitch across. In the last stitch, before completing the final pull-through, switch to a new colour (do not cut the White; carry it up the side). Chain 2, turn.
Rows 3 & 4: Using the new colour, work EHDC across each stitch. Chain 2, turn. At the end of row 4, pull through with White, then cut the coloured yarn.
Rows 5 & 6: Repeat rows 1 and 2 using White.
Colour Sequence: Repeat rows 3–6, following this order: Sunshine, Strawberry, Soft Blue, Dark Sage, Soft Pink, repeating the full sequence three times.
Border Instructions
(Before starting the border, weave in all loose ends.)
Round 1: With White, pull up a loop in any corner. Work 1 SC into each stitch, 3 SC into each corner space, and approximately 2 SC per row along the blanket’s sides. Join with a slip stitch to the starting SC. Switch to Strawberry.
Rounds 2–5: Using Strawberry, work 1 SC into each SC and 3 SC into each corner stitch. Instead of joining rounds, continue working in a continuous spiral. At the end of Round 5, join with a slip stitch. Tie off and weave in the ends.
