- dc – Double crochet
- MR – Magic ring
- sl.st – Slip stitch
- ch – Chain

- * – Repeat the instructions between asterisks
Camellia Flower Crochet Pattern
Flower Base:
Row 1: Ch 40, 2 dc in the 4th ch from the hook, ch 1, skip 1 st, 3 dc in next ch. Repeat 14 more times. Ch 2, turn.
Row 2: Dc in the base of the initial ch 2, 2 dc in the next st, dc in the next st, ch 2, sl.st in the first ch-sp. Ch 2, dc in the next st, 2 dc in the next st, dc in the next st, ch 2, sl.st in the next ch-sp. Repeat 13 more times. Ch 2, dc in the next st, 2 dc in the next st, dc in the 3rd ch of turning ch-3, ch 2, sl.st in the 3rd ch of turning ch again. Fasten off.
Shaping the Flower:
Once completed, your piece will have a curled appearance. Roll one end towards the centre to shape the flower. Using a tapestry needle, sew through all the layers from the back, ensuring a secure finish.
