📘 Blanket Pattern

Main Blanket

  1. Row 1 (Color A): Ch 252, turn.

  2. Row 2: 1 tr in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 2, turn.

  3. Row 3 (Color B): Ch 2, 1 tr in the space between each pair of stitches from the previous row. Turn.

  4. Row 4 (Color C): Ch 2, 2 tr between each stitch from the previous row. Turn.

Repeat Rows 3 and 4, changing to the next color in your chosen sequence (D, then A, B, C, etc.). Continue this repeat until you’ve completed 141 rows in total. The final row should be in Color C.

🪡 Border

Using Color C (or the last color you worked with):

  • Without turning, start working around the edges of the blanket.

  • In each corner, crochet 4 to 5 treble stitches to create a smooth, rounded turn.

  • On the sides, place 2 tr in the gap between the 1st and 2nd stitches of each row.

  • Along the foundation chain edge, work 1 tr between each stitch.

  • Join with a slip stitch to the top of the first border stitch.

  • Fasten off and weave in all ends neatly.

📏 Finished Size

Approximately 52 inches / 135 cm square
