Gauge: 15 stitches and 5 rows = 4 inches

Pattern Instructions
Start with Color A.
Make a slip knot and chain 22.
Row 1:
Single crochet in the second chain from the hook and across (21 stitches total). Chain 1, turn.
From Row 2 onward, work in the back loop only for texture.
Row 2:
Single crochet in each stitch across. Chain 3, turn.
Row 3:
(Chain 3 counts as your first stitch.)
Double crochet in the first stitch and in the next 3 stitches.
Double crochet 3 together (dc3tog).
Double crochet in the next 3 stitches.
Work 3 double crochets in the next stitch (this creates the peak), then double crochet in the next 3 stitches, dc3tog, and double crochet in the next 3 stitches.
Finish with 2 double crochets in the last stitch. Chain 3, turn.
Rows 4–20:
Repeat Row 3.
Row 21:
Switch to Color B and repeat Row 3.
Continue repeating Row 3 for the rest of the scarf. You can follow your own stripe pattern or use the color sequence I chose:

Final Thoughts:
This chevron pattern is simple, beginner-friendly, and visually striking! I made this scarf for my Nana and chose neutral tones to suit her taste—but honestly, this design would look amazing with a bold pop of color like red or pink.
I’m still debating how I feel about the stripe pattern—it’s designed so that the ends are cream-colored while the part that wraps around the neck is full of stripes. Hopefully, Nana loves it as much as I do!
